Rather than trying to create perfection from scratch, we choose the best option for each customer from a wide variety of options and customize it for them.This is a groundbreaking system that makes it easier and faster to create shoes that fit each individual's feet than what is generally known as bespoke shoes.
Instead of forcing our precious feet, which we call the second heart, into a mass-produced shoes,

Custom-made shoes are known as bespoke in the United Kingdom and su misura in Italy.
In recent years, their exceptional craftsmanship and level of perfection have attracted many shoe enthusiasts in Japan. However, they are often very expensive and involve a certain level of risk, which makes them difficult to purchase.
On the other hand, what is not widely known is that custom-made shoes involve certain challenges.
Naturally, customers expect a perfect fit and comfort from the very beginning.
However, shoemakers understand the reality that achieving the ideal result often requires time and adjustment. If this is not properly communicated, it can create a significant gap in expectations and lead to problems.
In most custom-made shoes, a wooden last is carved based on the measurements of the customer’s feet to create a pair made exclusively for them. So why is it still difficult to achieve a perfect fit?
In reality, it is not uncommon for the finished shoes to differ significantly from the customer’s expectations.
The feeling when you first put on a pair of shoes is different from how they feel after they have been worn and broken in. From a shoemaking perspective, maintaining long-lasting comfort is an extremely difficult challenge.
No matter how carefully a customer’s feet are measured, it is impossible to perfectly capture the complex three-dimensional structure of the foot, as well as individual preferences such as desired tightness, looseness, and the final silhouette.
We focused on this challenge. Rather than pursuing perfection from the very beginning, we developed a system that allows customers to select the best pair from a wide range of options and customize them to suit their needs. We named this system “Kinsei-Choka.”
Waso-Choka is a personal order system designed to fully showcase the Kinsei-Choka concept, offering shoes that allow customers to truly appreciate the craftsmanship and thoughtful design behind each carefully constructed pair.
